The price, read properly
A gap this narrow does not change the decision. Judge it at $1,359.99 and treat the saving as incidental.
One caveat we will not paper over: this is measured against Amazon’s own listed price, not against the lowest figure the product has ever carried. Our record of this listing starts on 18 August 2026, so it is a comparison, not a history.
The listing carries an end date of 7 September 2026. Retailers pull pages early and without warning, so read that as the outer edge rather than a promise.
Against what else is on the shelf
The closest tracked listings in desktops are Apple 2026 Mac mini Desktop Computer with M6 chip at $1,299.00 and Apple 2026 Mac mini Desktop Computer with M6 chip at $949.99. Both undercut it, so the case for paying more has to come from the table below rather than from the price.
These are the nearest listings by price that our tracker currently holds, not a survey of the market. Anything not listed on Amazon does not appear here at all.
Its strongest draw is the seamless blend of the M4 chip and Apple Intelligence in a compact, colorful design that handles daily tasks effortlessly.
