The claims, and what is behind them
The paragraph below is Amazon’s own sales copy. We keep it quoted and set apart rather than folded into our text, because marketing prose and a description are not the same thing, and because what it leaves out is as useful as what it claims.

What the number is worth
That is a narrow gap, and it is worth being blunt about it: a cut this small is closer to price noise than to a sale. If the specification does not stand on its own at $1,099.99, the discount will not carry it.
One caveat we will not paper over: this is measured against Amazon’s own listed price, not against the lowest figure the product has ever carried. Our record of this listing starts on 18 August 2026, so it is a comparison, not a history.
The listing carries an end date of 7 September 2026. Retailers pull pages early and without warning, so read that as the outer edge rather than a promise.
The nearest things to it
The closest tracked listings in tablets are Apple iPad Air 11-inch at $749.00 and Apple iPad Air 11-inch at $649.00. Both undercut it, so the case for paying more has to come from the table below rather than from the price.

Common questions

No. Every Colossal Electronics article is compiled from the retailer’s own listing, the manufacturer’s published data and generated summaries of that material. We do not perform hands-on testing, and no article on this site describes hands-on experience, because there is none.
Colossal Electronics earns a commission when a reader buys through a link on the site. The commission is paid by the retailer and does not change the price you pay. Products are selected automatically by the price tracker, so no retailer can buy coverage.
